He has written six books spanning technology leadership and church ministry.

Brent Lacy is an author, IT strategist, podcaster, and rural ministry advocate with over 25 years of experience at the intersection of technology, faith, and community. He serves as Strategic Advisory Manager at Core Managed IT Services, leading a team of vCIOs who help businesses align technology with long-term strategy.

Brent is the founder of RewiredMSP.com, a resource hub for managed service providers, and MinistryPlace.net, which provides free ministry resources to small and rural churches. He hosts the Rural Think Tank Podcast, available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and RuralThinkTank.com.

His books include Near Miss, vCIO Rewired, Rewired MSP, Rural Youth Ministry: Expanded Second Edition, and This is NOT DiY. Before moving into IT leadership, Brent spent 15 years as a youth pastor in rural Indiana and served as a child abuse investigator in the rural Midwest.
